Teeth Whitening
In our practice, peroxide-containing materials are used for teeth whitening.
The effectiveness in each case depends on the concentration of the substance used. Peroxide, converted to oxygen radicals, penetrates the tooth enamel and breaks down the molecules causing discoloration there. Numerous studies have shown that peroxide has no harmful effects on the body.
At Nádor Dental, two types of teeth whitening are available:
- In-office teeth whitening
The course of bleaching:
- Professional oral hygiene treatment is necessary prior to whitening. It’s essential to clean the surface of the teeth from tartar before treatment, as it can prevent the whitening material from exerting the required whitening effect. We want to whiten our teeth, not our tartar. Oral hygiene treatment costs between 25.000 and 40.000 HUF.
- Teeth whitening: If the dentist is convinced that the patient’s gums are healthy, treatment can begin as early as the day after the tartar is removed.
A Gentle, fast and effective teeth whitening is offered at our clinic with Peroxide, performed with Pola Office Plus technology and special Radii Xpert LED light.
The treatment only takes approximately 3x8 minutes with the the Poli Office Plus machine.
Why do we recommend the Pola Office Plus machine and the use of LED light?
- The bleaching device protects the nerves and their endings.
- Thanks to the LED light, the time the patient spends in the dental chair is shortened.
- A mere 30 minute-long treatment is enough to achieve best result,
- it makes whitening even more effective,
- minimizes irritation or burning sensation,
- does not damage the gums.
The dentist takes a photo of the starting tooth colour. Before starting the treatment, the gums are provided with a gum protector material to prevent possible damage to them.
The treatment can be repeated up to three times in a row. Completion of treatment is also documented in photos.

2.At-home teeth whitening with take-home kit
- Prior to whitening at home, an impression is made of the patient’s teeth, on the basis of which
- a unique teeth whitening splint is made that the patient uses in his home for 5-8 days with whitening material provided at the clinic (from a controlled source).
Before the patient leaves the dental clinic, we provide oral and written instructions on how to use the device, and we are always available by phone if you have any questions.
